Value & Sell

Tell us what is on the case back.

We identify the reference against the archive, give you an honest view of what it is worth today, and, if you decide to sell, bring masked offers from specialist dealers who know the watch. You see one clean net number. Payment is held by a licensed escrow service until the dealer has the watch in hand.

  • 01Send what you can read on the case back and a few photos.
  • 02We reply within two business days with the reference and a value range.
  • 03If you want to sell, dealers bid and escrow protects both sides.

Written report

A document that travels with the watch.

The free reply above tells you what you have. The written report goes further: the identification, what distinguishes the watch, a dated value range with the auction results and dealer prices behind it named, and a recommendation. Every report carries a permanent Archiva Record ID, so the next owner inherits the paper trail. Delivered as a PDF within three business days.

A report is an identification and a market valuation from photographs with its sources shown. It is not a physical inspection and not a USPAP appraisal; it tells you which watches, if any, warrant one.

What do you want to do?
The watch

Cartier engraves the reference and serial numbers on the back of the case. A phone photo of the engraving is often easier than reading it.

You

We reply by email within two business days and ask for photos then, so there is nothing to upload here. Archiva identifies references and estimates value from documented examples and comparable sales; it does not issue authentication or certification. Nothing is shown to a dealer until you ask us to.
