Visual Description

The Ref. 0907 is a small round Santos with an octagonal bezel. Fellows, Bukowskis and Vermot et Associés measure the case at 24 mm, WannaBuyAWatch at 25 mm and Artcurial at 26 mm. The case is stainless steel and the octagonal bezel 18k yellow gold, fixed by screws, with a crown set with a cabochon. Dials are white with Roman numerals and a railroad minute track, silvered, or burgundy, under blued steel sword hands on the white dials. The integrated bracelet has flat steel links with gold screws and a folding clasp.

Reference Significance

The 0907 is the steel and gold ladies' Santos Octagon, and the Ref. 0906 is the same small case in one metal. The pairing follows the larger Santos Octagons, the steel and gold Ref. 2966 and the single-metal Ref. 2965, and the ladies' square Santos, the single-metal Ref. 0901 and the steel and gold Ref. 0902. None of the 0907 records opened shows a date window.

Historical Context

Bukowskis sold an example with a certificate dated March 1986, WannaBuyAWatch dates one to the 1980s and Artcurial another to about 1990. Exact production years are not established.

What to Look For

Case number: It should begin 0907; the serial follows straight on, as in 090701756.

Movement: The automatic should wind and keep time. The records opened name no caliber, so ask to see the movement.

Dial: Check the lacquer for cracks; Vermot et Associés sold one with a cracked dial.

Gold parts and bracelet: Look at the gold bezel and screws for wear and heavy polishing, the bracelet for stretch and the folding clasp for a firm close.

How to tell it apart

What separates a Ref. 0907 from its neighbors, and what to check before you buy or sell one.

What is a Cartier Santos Ronde Ref. 0907 worth?

Archiva has found two public sales of Ref. 0907 in the last three years: $2,950 at Leonard Joel in October 2026 and $1,750 at Vermot et Associés in January 2026. Two sales are a rough guide, not a market price. One more sale was left out (Outlier (about 3x), material doubtful). For comparison, from November 2023 to November 2026: 24-27 mm ladies, steel or steel and gold automatic or quartz (Ref. 0907, 0906, 8191, 81912 and 81913): $1,300 to $2,250, median $1,900 across 6 sales, two of them Ref. 0907.

What is the Santos Octagon Ref. 0907?

The ladies' Santos Octagon in steel and gold: a round stainless steel case of 24 to 26 mm with an 18k yellow gold octagonal bezel held by screws, a cabochon crown, an automatic movement and an integrated steel bracelet with gold screws and a folding clasp. Dated examples run from a certificate of March 1986 to about 1990.

What should the case back read?

A case number that begins 0907, because the serial runs straight on from the reference: Artcurial recorded 090701756, Fellows 090751481, Bukowskis 090776839 and Vermot et Associés 090718280.

How is the 0907 different from the Ref. 0906?

By metal. Both are small automatic Santos Octagons of 24 to 26 mm. The 0907 is stainless steel with an 18k yellow gold bezel and gold screws on a steel bracelet; the 0906 is made in one metal throughout, stainless steel or 18k yellow gold.

How is it different from the Ref. 2966 and the square Ref. 0902?

The 2966 is the larger steel and gold Santos Octagon, 29 to 30 mm, with a date at 3 o'clock. The 0902 is the ladies' steel and gold automatic in the square Santos case, 24 × 34.5 mm. The 0907 is the small round case with the octagonal bezel.

What should I check before buying a Ref. 0907?

The case number on the back, which should begin 0907; the gold bezel and screws for wear and heavy polishing; the dial, since Vermot et Associés sold one with a cracked dial; the bracelet for stretch, with a folding clasp that closes firmly; and the automatic, which should wind and keep time.
